For several years the nine local authorities of the East Midlands region have commissioned the SDSA to support some of their collaborative learning developments. These networks, seminars, conferences and action learning sets have becomes known as the Regional Learning Project - a unique venture that seeks to bring colleagues together to work and learn in ways that will add value to their work.
The fundamental principle of the Regional Learning Project is that the effective sharing of information and learning is one of the most powerful ways of improving outcomes for children, young people and families. The RLP never seeks to introduce and agenda of its own or impose a 'top down' approach, - it only ever seeks to create conditions in which colleagues can work together effectively to address common challenges.
The RLP has its own website at www.changeforchildren.co.uk where recent and forthcoming events and activities can be viewed. The site also contains resources from recent events.
